Counseling/Admission of M.Ed. for vacant/leftover seats in Colleges of Education:

  1. If the seats after counseling for M.Ed. program under Self-Financed Scheme Colleges of Education affiliated to Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur – Rewari still remain vacant, the college concerned will have to display the vacant seats on the website of the college.
  2. The concerned college may make admission at its own level upto 12.02.2022 (05:00 PM by adopting procedure as laid down by the University.
  3. The candidates have to apply afresh and required to submit the application with late fee of Rs. 2000/- alongwith prescribed fee to the Principal of the college concerned.
  4. The concerned College will have to send/deposit fee received from the candidates to the University upto 14.02.2022 (05:00 PM)  positively alongwith list of admission made otherwise the admissions made by the college concerned will be treated as cancelled.

Note:  After completion of this phase, no further counseling shall be conducted by the University for admission and no college shall be allowed to make admission beyond 12.02.2022 even if seats remain vacant, to meet the minimum requirement of 200 days compulsory teaching as per NCTE norms. Further the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh has decided in the CWP No.-25707 of 2015 that once the last date has been notified by the admission making authority, therefore, there would be no extension under any circumstances.
